Nexans Solar H1Z2Z2-K Premium Cable

Meets all the requirements of UNE 50618 and IEC 62930 standards. It has a flexible tinned copper conductor, with cross-linked insulation and sheath (XLPE), halogen-free, low smoke emission and non-flammable. The compounds used are free of hazardous substances (RoHS).

Applications and Features

Power supply of low voltage 1.5 kV DC circuits, mainly the connection of photovoltaic solar panels on roofs and solar farms where weather resistance characteristics are required.

Ideal for connection between the strings of photovoltaic solar panels as well as the connection to the combiner box (if applicable) and as the main feeder for the connection of inverter equipment responsible for transforming direct current (DC) from solar energy into alternating current. (AC). Cables suitable for installation in ducts, conduits, fixed and mobile installations (trackers), resistant to UV rays and resistant to extreme temperatures (-40°C to + 120°C).

Differentiated Offer

These cables are part of our Fire Safety production line, with their characteristics:

  • Halogen free evaluated according to Standard IEC 60754-1, UNE-EN 50267.
  • Low smoke emission evaluated under the IEC 61034-2 Standard.
  • Non-propagation to flame, complying with the test indicated in Standard IEC 60332-1-2.

Cable designed to be permanently immersed in water according to condition AD8 complying with the test defined in sections 14.2.7 and 14.2.8 of the IEC 60529 standard (Procedure developed by Centelsa by Nexans).

Ampacity Conditions

  • Current capacity a single cable outdoors, at 60 ºC According to the norm in 50618- table A.3(see Table A.4 for
    other ambient temperatures)
  • The expected period of use at a maximum conductor temperature of 120°C and at a maximum ambient temperature of 90°C is limited to 20,000 h.
  • Data indicated in this table are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.

INFORMATION NOTE

The expected period of use is 25 years provided that normal conditions of use are met in accordance with the manufacturing standards IEC 62930 numeral 1 and UNE EN 50618 numeral 1.
