At Madeco by Nexans we are committed to enriching the community that saw us grow and helped us fulfill our purpose. Therefore, we have developed a series of initiatives focused on women, children, senior citizens and inhabitants of the commune.

Integrate San Miguel

Through meetings such as "Let's Integrate San Miguel", held in March, we were able to give a second life to 20 reels from our own activity, to be exhibited as a message of attention during Women's Month in El Llano Park.

First Nexans Madeco Foursquare

We conducted the First Quadrangular Madeco by Nexans, aimed at girls and boys of the commune of San Miguel. An alliance that we promoted among employees, the union, together with the Municipality of San Miguel and the women's soccer team of the Santiago Morning Club. A social initiative that joined the meeting of older adults in the commune.

Exmadequinos

We opened the doors of our plant to welcome former employees, many of them collaborators who worked for decades and who, thanks to this event, were able to reconnect with their workplace, collect stories and share with their former colleagues.

The inauguration of the Ureta Cox Street Mural

One of our recent initiatives was the inauguration of the Ureta Cox Street Mural, part of the cultural and artistic heritage of the commune, but also of Madeco by Nexans. A work that was designed and carried out by the collaborator, graffiti artist and muralist, Cristián Castro. This intervention is in line with the purpose of Madeco by Nexans, the active role of the community, collaborating to the integration and strengthening the quality of life of its neighbors.
