Use / Applications
Bare hard copper conductors are ideal for installations on overhead lines near the coast and/or in environments with high pullution due to their high resistance to aggressive environmental factors.
Construction: Bare conductor with concentric wiring according to ASTM B-8 standard, formed by hard copper wires according to ASTM B-1 standard.
Ampacities of bare copper conductors
Current carrying capacity in open air at 40°C ambient temperature and the conductor at 80°C. Source: RIC N°4 Table 4.3.
