ProductIEC 60502-1; Nexans specification
Applications
Portable cable with extra-heavy-duty outer jacket used for power supply to all types of mobile machines in surface and underground mining, quarrying and other civil engineering operations. Thanks to the reduced diameter, Powermine® D&T installed on reeling systems allow longer travelling distance than other cables e.g. rubber sheathed cables.
Construction: Multicore cable with ground conductors and ground-check conductors (pilots).
1. Conductor: Very flexible stranded copper conductors, class 5 acc. to IEC 60228.
2. Insulation: Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) according to IEC 60502-1.
3. Grounding conductors: One, two or three flexible copper conductors with XLPE insulation.
4. Ground-check conductor or pilots: Upon request, could be included one or two pilots with XLPE insulation.
5. Mechanical reinforcement: Aramid yarns as a central strength member, fabric tape and double aramid servings applied over the cores asembly.
6. Jacket: Extra-heavy-duty Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). Colour upon request.
Marking: NEXANS CHILE POWERMINE D-T "size" 0,6/1kV Cu XLPE 90°C "date"
