We signed an alliance with INACAP

Jul 17, 2024

On July 17, we signed a Framework Collaboration Agreement with INACAP at our facilities, which is aimed at promoting innovation, education and sustainable development.

Madeco by Nexans, a leader in electrification solutions with 80 years of experience in the local market, contributes with its vast experience and cutting-edge technology; while INACAP contributes with its excellence in the academic field. The agreement will allow the development of joint initiatives in areas such as technology transfer, technical assistance and continuing education, focused on improving the competitiveness of national productive sectors.

In this context, Camilo Elton, general manager of Madeco by Nexans, said that “for us it is a great step to formalize this strategic collaboration with INACAP. This agreement represents a valuable opportunity to merge our experience in energy solutions with the educational excellence of a prestigious technical education institution as we all know INACAP to be.”

"Technology is in the DNA of INACAP, in all our careers, in the way we teach, in what we do every day. Therefore, we couldn't choose not to participate in an alliance with a leading company in the production of copper cables in our country,” said Lucas Palacios, Rector of INACAP.

This agreement will have an initial duration of two years, and will be automatically renewable for equal periods, in order to ensure the continuity of projects and collaborations.

At Madeco by Nexans, we reaffirm our commitment to contributing to the technological and educational progress of the country.
